We stayed 5 weeks this winter, HVAC didn't work but was replaced within a couple of days, disposal was replaced in a day and dryer door was fixed in a timely manner. ECDI was very easy to work with, so after the repairs it was smooth sailing for the rest of our stay. Unit is very large so when some family came it was not in the least crowded. Beds were comfortable, Livingroom furniture was fine but not home (haha).

This rental was spectacular! The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were all comfortable and everything described was accurate. The view was amazing! I am thankful we were on the second floor because the wait for the elevators was a huge problem for all the other guests because one elevator has been out of service for over a year. The chairs on the beach included with the rental was excellent. If you are wanting a view of the pool (there are two of them) and the beach you may want to try for a corner unit. I understand parents like to be able to see both when they have kids utilizing both.The biggest complaint my group had along with multiple other families would be the harassment we received from a lady named Vivian White. She patrolled the beach every morning from 6:45-8:30 snapping photos of personal umbrellas that were set up. She would demand people move them to the wet sand and would get security to pull up umbrellas that were left unattended. She did this daily Monday-Friday and then another young man took over when she left. She informed everyone she has been in ongoing 11 year lawsuit with Tidewater and had many negative things to say about them. However, I had no complaints about my stay other than her.

Had a great week at our first time at Tidewater. We loved that we were on the second floor so we didn’t have to worry about waiting for elevators. The only recommendation would be to get blackout curtains in the front two bedrooms. The hall light outside the condo was so bright the blinds didn’t block it out good.

Absolutely loved this condo! For the building being as large as it is, being on the 2nd (technically 3rd floor) was perfect! We didn’t get tangled up in the elevator situation, we were able to skip elevators almost entirely as we just took the stairs to the beach, and we were able to park on the 2nd level everyday and just walk over. Staff was friendly, check in was easy, and the building felt very secure! The condo itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed! Floors were a bit sandy, but that’s to be expected being at the beach - we swept up and enjoyed our stay!

The condo itself was amazing— clean, plenty of space and loved the shower! However, the process of checking in was infuriating. The fact that check-in included registration and having to pay extra!! And, I was considered late even though I was there before 4:00 pm. This was a poor start to my vacation. Thankfully we were on the 2nd floor because the elevator situation was horrific. I even saw EMTs waiting for an elevator for too long considering they were called to attend a sick person. I also did not like the situation with the chairs outside. Too crowded and chaotic.
