The property is located in the beautiful Edgewater resort. It is within walking distance to pretty much everything you could want. The view and the room setup were beautiful. The only issue we had was with the cleanliness and upkeep of the room itself. The walls and counter had lots of wear. There was dust in nearly every corner and on the ceilings. We found someone else’s necklace and shaving razor underneath things. We found that the price was a bit steep for the lack of cleanliness, but it wasn’t terrible. We would definitely return to Edgewater, but would likely want to find another room.

We had a wonderful time. It was spacious and gave us plenty of room to host my parents for a couple days. There were a few things that could have been better. We had loud neighbors above us, not sure if it was kids running constantly or maybe they were putting new floors in, but the constant stomping was rather annoying. The light in the guest bathroom flickers and cover not attached very good which could be a hazard and should be looked at as a safety issue. Also as a suggestion it would be nice to have some ottomans for chairs. I ended up buying one at wal mart which I ended up leaving by accident. All in all we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips.

This was the perfect place for us to stay for a week. It has a large balcony with a good view of the ocean, and a really spacious living room (which also has a great view, the doors to the balcony are glass). The kitchen had every possible utensil we needed.

The view was incredible, the location was great. We will stay here again. But the bedding was dirty, full of sand and hair. Irewashed ALL bedding. None of the drains, would drain. Hubby had to go buy a snake and clear the drains. But the rest of the vacation vwas wonderful.

Condo was great. Definitely has some wear on it. No armbands or parking passes on our arrival. First call we got arm bands delivered. Second call we got parking passes on Sunday. Toilet seat in master bathroom was broke. King bed broke on one side. We had to buy a new toilet seat and cinder block to hold up bed. Maintenance got there 3 days later and made the repairs. Sofa bed was the best bed. View was excellent. Felt safer in the resort with all the police shut downs the first weekend. Elevators were down sometimes. Trash shoots were a great idea! Pools were warm. Oceans and Edgies were great.

We had a fantastic time. Unit, while there were a few snafus (things broken), we reported right away and management offered to come up and fix everything right away. Resort amenities were fantastic (minus $400 for beach rental for 2 chairs and 1 umbrella -- we usually only pay $120 in Destin). Cannot brag enough about all the fun stuff to do at Edgewater. Unit could use a few more utensils and a new coffee pot (only a 5 cup serving and it didn't keep the coffee hot). <br/>Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend!

For my first time using Vrbo and staying at Edgewater Resort, I was very happy. I am confused on all the negative reviews of the unit I stayed in. This unit was clean, beds were made, towels were supplied. All appliances worked. We did have 1 broken back of a chair, but I called the manager right away and informed them. Location was great and I loved the gulf view. The unit also comes with chairs for the beach, which was a pleasant surprise. My only recommendation is unit needs more kitchen utensils, like tongs and a can opener and new pans. Other than that my family had a great time and would stay in this unit again.

We enjoyed staying at the condo. It was nice and would stay there again. The dryer does not dry very well, you have to turn it on several times to dry. There are only 2 remotes and need one more for the other tv in bedroom. Overall, I would recommend staying here.

This unit is a two bedroom in Tower 3. We have others at Edgewater 2 and 3br see our VRBO ads.
The master BR contains a king bed and the second bedroom has 2 double beds. The condo also has a pullout sleeper sofa and a large flat screen tv for your enjoyment.
There are many family amenities, such as controlled entrance, 24-hour security, 11,500 foot lagoon style swimming pool (and many smaller swimming pools scattered across the property) landscaped with waterfalls, palms, exotic plants, flowers, whirlpools, golf, tennis courts (approximately 20), two restaurants on water, jet-ski rental, para sailing, sailing, exercise room, convention center, gift shop, beauty salon, etc.
Over 110 private acres and more than 1000 feet of private Gulf-front. Nearby is a fishing pier extending far into the Gulf. Within the resort is a nine-hole par-three golf course meandering through lagoons and ponds.
Shipwreck Island Water Park and many eateries are within walking distance.
You are a short walk from a shopping center with restaurants, a ten screen movie theater, grocery store, ice cream parlor, subway sandwich shop, etc. There are several piers near by for fishing and a state park right down the road.
Edgewater Resort charges a $50 registration fee which includes one parking pass. You may resgister another vehicle for an additional $30 via the registration site. The link to register will be provided once the reservation is paid in full.
Must be 25+ years old to reserve this property.
